Discover the programme for Masters de Feu 2026!

On Saturday 19 September, the Compiègne racecourse is set for an exceptional evening. To celebrate its tenth anniversary, Masters de Feu has chosen a theme worthy of the occasion:"The Grand Ball".

An invitation to celebration, movement and shared experience, this anniversary edition will unfold through music, competition and spectacular creations.

A festive first half of the evening

From the moment the public arrives, the atmosphere will fill the racecourse avenues with theShow & Marching Band B.L.V., and its some thirty musicians. Brass, percussion and collective energy will draw spectators into the world of theGrand Ball, with a generous, rhythmic parade.

Before the competition begins, anopening show created by Loïc Delorieux, from ARTEVENTIA, will introduce this tenth edition and set the evening truly in motion.

Three nations united for "The Grand Ball"

As night falls, three international teams will successively take to the stage in pursuit of the firstSilver Master of the 2026–2028 cycle:

• Surex, for Poland;
• Xena, for the Netherlands;
• Minhota, for Portugal.

Each will have fifteen minutes to present its own interpretation of the theme"The Grand Ball". Three countries, three sensibilities and three pyrotechnic styles will transform the sky above Compiègne into a vast open-air stage.

All teams must also include an imposed musical passage set to"Come Alive". One same piece, yet three ways to stage it, allowing the audience and the jury to fully compare the originality and artistic personality of each show.

What if you became a jury member?

Masters de Feu also offer the public the chance to experience the competition from within. Spectators who wish to do so can sign up to becomejury membersand take part in selecting the winning team.

A privileged opportunity to look closely at the competing creations and assess their originality, synchronisation, respect for the theme, artistic structure and, above all, the emotion they succeed in creating.

An anniversary finale never before seen at the Masters

To close this tenth edition, a closing show created especially for the occasion will bring together800 drones, light and pyrotechnics.

This creation was imagined in partnership with the teams fromMagic DroneandARTEVENTIA, under the artistic direction ofÉdouard GRÉGOIRE.

After theGrand Balloffered by the competing pyrotechnicians, this final show will take the form of a tribute to the first ten years of Masters de Feu. It will evoke the memory of the event, its attachment to Compiègne, the many nations that have shaped its history and the momentum that now carries it towards the future.

In the sky, images will appear, evolve and transform to a cinematic, deeply emotional soundtrack. The drones will trace broad white and silver lines, deliberately pared back, while light and pyrotechnics accompany and extend their movements.

We will not reveal any more… Except that the show has been designed as a succession of transformations and that certain images are likely to remain long in the audience’s memory.

After ten years of competition, encounters and emotion,The Grand Ballwill thus conclude with a creation turned towards the future. For if ten years have passed, the Masters de Feu flame continues to rise.
